Band leader Mike Faast has been part of the Northwest music scene for over thirty years. He has performed in several bands in different styles ranging from country, bluegrass, gospel, blues to swing, and jazz. He's a member of the Seattle Western Swing Hall of Fame and has played every major bluegrass festival in the state as well as dozens of churches, town fairs, and festivals.

Mike Faast & the Archtops
Mike Faast & "The Archtops play Swing, Blues and Jazz from  the great Swing era! Featuring some of Skagit Valleys finest jazz players, the band covers Latin, swing, & blues from the 20's to the 40's. The band is a great addition to any town fair, or jazz festival. Perfect for anniversaries, weddings, corporate events and swing dances.
*The band can also do a great Blues and Oldies show featuring Blues and & RB from the 50's 60' era.

Featured instruments. Guitar & Vocals, sax/clarinet, piano, drums and bass.  

The Mike Faast Trio 
The Mike Faast Trio covers 50 years of swing, soul, jazz, & blues. From the great swing era of the 20's to 40's to the jazzy soul tunes of 60s. 
Description - Nat Cole meets Sam Cook meets Ray Charles. From "swing to soul"."

Swing 48 
The Bellingham based string quartet delivers a wonderful, high-energy blend of Western Swing Standards & Gypsy Jazz instrumentals.   
Description - Bob Wills meets Django Reinhardt! Two guitars/vocals/fiddle/bass

 The Jangles
The Jangles play Western Swing and Classic Country music. So whether you like to swing dance or line dance, they've got it covered. The Jangles feature - steel guitar, fiddle, bass, drums, piano/accordion, and Mike on lead vocals and guitar, and Western outfits!
Description - Traditional Country Dance band. Instrumentation - fiddle, steel guitar, drums, bass, guitar/vocals, Piano, accordion. 
The Jangles Quartet - This is the acoustic version of the Jangles. The quartet plays Vintage swing, Western swing, and Western classics.

The Cascade Mountain Boys 
The Cascade Mountain Boys play traditional bluegrass and bluegrass Gospel music. The band features 3-part harmony, banjo, fiddle, guitar and bass. The band has been featured in most of the bluegrass festivals in the state. They are equally comfortable performing at a festival or back yard barbeque.

Three week stand at the Lights of Christmas in Stanwood!  

Looking forward to a three week run at the Light's of Christmas Festival at Warm Beach Conference Center.
November 29th and 30th I'll be at the Starry Night Café with the Jangles Trio, (Mike Faast, Roger Ferguson and Michael Eytcheson). The following two weekends I'll be there with the Cascade Mountain Boys followed by the Archtops. 

Mercer Island Farmers Market 

We had a lot of fun performing at the Mercer Island Farmers Market on June 19th.
We met lots of nice people and no mean ones.
The food and the weather were great and the trio sounds great if we do say so ourselves ;-)
