The Cascade Mountain Boys
The Cascade Mountain Boys play traditional bluegrass music, featuring hot pickin’ and three-part harmony. The group has been performing in festivals, town fairs, and private events since founded by Mike Faast in 2006. The current line up features Mike Faast on Lead vocals and guitar, Rick Meade on Banjo and baritone & vocals,Toby Simcox plays Mandolin and sings tenor vocals, Bryan Thurber on fiddle and Myco Ferrel on Bass. Their repertoire consists of bluegrass standards such as "Bringin’ in that Georgia Mail", and "In the Pines", folk/grass covers like "Country Roads", and "Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright", originals written by Mike Faast, as well as bluegrass gospel music like "Little Mountain Church", and "In the Sweet By and By".
