Band leader Mike Faast founded the Jangles in 1999 with Paul Anastasio on fiddle, Mick Nicolson on bass and the late Ray Wood on guitar. The band has enjoyed the services of many great NW swing players and continues to entertain loyal Western Swing and Vintage Country fans all over the NW. The Jangles Quartet features: National Flatpicking Champion and multi-instrumentalist Roger Ferguson on fiddle, mandolin and lead guitar; Western Swing Hall of Fame member Mike Faast on vocals/guitar, and Mick Nicholson on stand-up bass. Several outstanding NW fiddle players contribute to the Jangles ensemble, including Paul Elliot, Bryan Thurber, and Julian Smedley. In this video Paul Elliot is featured.
