Welcome to Mike Faast Music! 

Band leader Mike Faast has been part of the northwest music scene for over thirty years performing in several bands in different styles ranging from bluegrass to swing. Nothing lights up an event like the right music. Whether it be a wedding, town fair, or corporate event, Mike is confident he can provide the right band for you. The Archtops - The Archtops play swing, blues, and jazz. If you're looking for a swing band that can play both vocal and instrumental jazz standards, or shift gears and play a soulful set of blues, then click on the Archtops in the menu above. There you will find videos and pictures of the band. Song samples can be found in the song page.

The Jangles - If country is your thing then check out the Jangles. They play a style know as "Western Swing", or as some affectionately refer to as "hick jazz",  great for swing dancing. They can also play a wide variety of classic country standards.

The Cascade Mountain Boys - The Cascade Mountain Boys play traditional Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel music. They have played all the major festivals in the Northwest as well numerous other venues such as town fairs and churches and neighborhood block parties. If you're looking for a bluegrass hot bluegrass band for your event, consider the Cascade Mountain Boys.

The Archtops Quartet plays the Standards for Aegis Happy hour

Three week stand at the Lights of Christmas in Stanwood!  

Looking forward to a three week run at the Light's of Christmas Festival at Warm Beach Conference Center.
November 29th and 30th I'll be at the Starry Night Café with the Jangles Trio, (Mike Faast, Roger Ferguson and Michael Eytcheson). The following two weekends I'll be there with the Cascade Mountain Boys followed by the Archtops. 

Mercer Island Farmers Market 

We had a lot of fun performing at the Mercer Island Farmers Market on June 19th.
We met lots of nice people and no mean ones.
The food and the weather were great and the trio sounds great if we do say so ourselves ;-)
